Information on teaser trailers:
Trailers consist of a series of selected shots from the film being advertised. Since the purpose of the trailer is to attract an audience to the film, these excerpts are usually drawn from the most exciting, funny, or otherwise noteworthy parts of the film but in abbreviated form and usually without producing spoilers. For this purpose the scenes are not necessarily in the order in which they appear in the film. A trailer has to achieve that in less than two and a half minutes, the maximum length allowed by theaters. Each studio or distributor is allowed to exceed this time limit once a year, if they feel it is necessary for a particular film.

What is the difference between a trailer and teaser?
Teaser are usually shorter, with less footage from the actual film and generally has very few information about the film itself, or footages shot specifically for the preview. Teaser are sometimes created before principal photography of a movie begins.
Trailer, on the other hand, mostly features clips from the film, usually gives an outline of what the story is about. And are often created when an rough/fine edit/edits is completed.
Introduction:
For this A2 Media coursework task my group and I have chosen to do 'Brief 2' which involves making a teaser trailer as the main task. Then making two ancillary tasks - a poster for the film and a film magazine front cover featuring the film. My group and I will upload all work done onto our blogs. We will do both individual and group work.
